Aurora was started under saddle as a 6 yr old mare, she was off to a promising start winning a Regional Top Five in Sport Horse Under Saddle – ATR with her 12 yr old rider.  When warming up for the CDS Championships second ride she tore her rear suspensory.  The vets felt that she would not recover from this injury and at that time declared her broodmare sound.  Aurora was not ready to be “put out to pasture” and after 6 months of paddock rest was re-evaluated by the vets and declared sound to go back to work.

Lynae Zuniga was Aurora’s trainer at the time and she slowly put Aurora back to work, being careful to build appropriate muscles over a 3 month period.  Lynae was not able to attend our Arabian Shows, so we asked a young rider named Jenny Breed if she would like to ride Aurora for us.

Aurora started showing again in the Spring of 2005 with Jenny Breen as her rider, the pair were a sight to behold winning many Class A classes, high score awards and the following titles together.
